ワル西の本当の実力は？
『旭山動物園物語』の撮影では、旭川のロケハンをしながら監督として注文させて貰った事は、ワル西ちゃんの尽力で、ことごとく実現した！ 例えば市議会の議場を借りたい！ 本物の市会議員さんに出演して貰いたい！ 小学校の体育館を借り、全校の生徒が集まる前で園長が話しをするシーンを撮りたい！ 旭川空港の手荷物検査場を西田園長が通り抜けると、ロビーのガラス窓越しに待機している日本航空が見えたい！ その他あれこれ一杯お願いしたが！全て実現出来なかった事はない！ その功績を思うにつけ、ワル西ちゃんは根回しや交渉がうまいだけに止まらず、余程悪知恵も発達しているに違いないと、映画制作関係者も思い始めた！ 初めはどうせ市の観光部の素人役人と侮っていたが、その仕事ぶりのあまりの見事さに、彼らも舌を巻いた！ そして、ワル西論は単に園長が発明した愛称に止まらず、撮影隊全員に有名になり、陰では皆がワル西と呼ぶようになった！ 更に上司である重野観光部長までもが小菅園長と共に、ワル西説大賛成派の一人を名乗りだした！曰く『うちの観光部でも、反大西派は九割に昇る！』とのお墨付きを与えたのである！ 勿論半分は冗談だが、半分は真実味があるのだ！ だからこの冗談は活きるし、うける！ ワル西の個性豊かで、ユニークな仕事ぶり。根はクソ真面目だから、例え言いにくいことも、率直に正直にズバリものを言ってしまうう！その上、素晴らしい結果をだす有能な奴と言うのは、サラリーマン社会では絶対に嫌われる！ 僕や小菅園長や重野部長が大好きな大西次長に、ワル西とあだ名をつけるのは非常に意味深長なのであります！ 次回は、このワル西説が、東京の全角川関係者にまで浸透した大事件をお話しよう！ お楽しみに！ 本日お見せした写真は ワル西ではありません！ワル西の上司の重野観光部長です！ ワル西を陰で操る本物のワルかもしれません！お酒が入ると、とんでもなく饒舌になる、万年文学青年です！ 観光部で反大西が九割なら、反重野は六割？いや七割かも知れない！役人気質からはみ出している人種の一人には違いありません！ いづれにせよ、役人やサラリーマン社会から嫌われるタイプこそ！ 我々もの作り職人の真の友と成りうる人々なんですね！ この重野観光部長と小菅園長は来年定年退職を迎えます！ ワル西を含めた旭川市役所のゴールデントリオは後３ヶ月で解散になります！ これは旭川市の莫大な損失だと僕は思うのだが、市役所ではほっとして喜んでいる人が、さぞかし大多数なんだろうな！ 明日はワル西の写真をお見せしたいと思います！お楽しみに！
